Messy Heart

Real life situation that shows just how depressing love can be.

So many empty smiles lost to broken promises; promises made, promises received. Hours of lost time spent fighting myself. Trying to find the words to shout…comeback. Emotions found in the bottom of liquor bottles and saved texts. Who did I turn into? I didn’t even recognize myself. Lost to a world of anger, jealousy, and the what ifs that never happened. Sleepless nights with my heart shattered repeating the words, “I can never be with you again Tyler; you broke my heart.”

Author's Note

I just need to get words out instead of replaying the scenes in my head of my life. I don't believe I'm a good writer, and I have a lot of grammar mistakes, but I need to write the words to help with my emotions of life.
