A poem about a dog.

Short poem about a dog...I wrote it on my porch.

A dog barks in the distance and I can relate to it.

More than people, more than the world.

I sip my tea and often wonder what our purpose is in this dank, dark place.

And rain is falling against the windowpane.

And life really isn’t so bad.

Not today.
