WOW! WOW! And WOW! This is amazing & unexpected & powerful! I love the way you flirt around the perimeter of how trees are central to our need for oxygen, adding a background theme to this ongoing metaphor/comparison for how humans and trees can both be battered by life in similar ways. The finishing notes of survival are written so lyrically, as to feel like a celebration of all earth's beings that work together to stave off our foolish destructive tendencies! This is very unique & mind-blowing as an open-ended message to provoke the reader's own take on things (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

We are truly on this planet as one, all actions reverberate, whether it be negatively or positively. So kind of a review, can't thank you enough!
Fortunately, my review will be short because I don't have many things to say. I felt overjoyed to read your poem for the reason that I didn't have the occasion to read a real spirited poem these weeks. Repeating other people's words, I like the way you contoured this beautiful picture of nature. The way you mixed the figures of speech and the artistic images is marvelous.
I have only one mistake to "evaporate". It is about "sun dried". Consider adding a hyphen, as it will result "sun-dried".
Excepting that minuscule mistake, your work is fabulous!
That's all I had to comment!
Keep writing! Good luck!

Contoured; I hadn't thought of it as such, poetic in it's own right. Much appreciated.
There is a wonderful energy in your writing. The narrative simply astounds the reader at each and every turn. I just wish Ty I could see you here more often.
Regards,Al

For me, an ideal poem to illustrate how we refine ourselves throughout life, usually after some traumatic event, suffering, or just age. And, after a bit of reflection, self-discovery, and encouragement, we blossom again, often in different form. Great, vivid imagery, and a perfect photo for this poem. Nice piece!

Many thanks Robert. A reflective piece yet hosts broader meaning. Something to apply to all.
