Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis

A Poem by Ty
"

Aurora Borealis.

"
The physical phenomenon
Of magnetism
Natural magnetic mechanisms
Alluring,
Yet I'm repulsed
Realizing the world's poles will never see the other
In other words,
Polar opposites
Burdening chaos in between
Rapture,
I'd snap the destruction of beautiful,
In Polaroid captures
Therefore after
My breath can only reach you in frequency waves
Or words to graze your senses
As Magnolia and incense
Or warm loaves of bread
I'm beginning to see the Aurora Borealis judging mankind overhead
No longer interested in frequent visits
Livid and fizzling
The breadth of me
Instantly pulled between,
A tug and pull of poles
Each,
Etched hope and SOS in solar wind
Deep core,
Or Earth's basement
And all I'd have to relate in adjacency,
Is potholes in concrete and pavement
A ray of light would appear as Sapphire
Off in the distance
With it's dark and coal remnants
Dim, transparent, and blue,
Depending on the cave
Or darkroom,
I chose to develop this photo,
To tell you a story
Unique perspectives.

The image is so poignantly evocative and the poem so beautifully ethereal...polarity, Polaroid..."I'd snap the destruction of beautiful"- " I choose to develop this photo"-yes, a dark photo with Aurora Borealis judging man's chaos below. Will we get a stay if execution?....Stellar work- (pun intended)! Bravo!

It's been my dream to see the aurora borealis. Even though I see many photos and videos of it, I am sure that the real thing is much more beautiful in person.

You created a image before me- Northern Hemisphere, Aurora Borealis etc. Well penned!
Congratulations!

Whenever I think of the beauty of the sky. I've been lucky enough to have seen it a few times, but your perspective of polar opposites, with chaos in between, has altered my perspective. Excellent, thought provoking piece.
