Lucid Picasso

Lucid Picasso

A Poem by Ty
"

Lucid Picasso. Foggy state of mind. Love.

"
Lucid
A vivid Picasso
Yet has sundered and withered over time
Now asymmetrically different
My approach
My closeness
Bridges spanning straits
Distantly tethered to shores and instances
Once clasped closely souls in need
Most of which peer defeat
Emotions torn and limited
Now soaked in semi-opaque glass
A fogged retreat
I don't believe I'd tame pain,
Just by placing hands on your symmetrical frame
Your shoulders
Identical beings
Calm demeanor of the Great Blue Heron
I'd have patience,
And wait on a bench with time
As it takes light-years to wonder across minds
And constellations,
Teleporting
A more favorable means of transportation
I'd ask how are you,
How are you doing in the place you're in right now,
And I'll always stand a solider as shelter and shade in rain,
When then sun falls down
On your sides when tides breach levees,
The concrete's worn thin.
Across the river
But here
Sincerely,
A friend.

This poem reminds of my friends who are always patient with me. How they are always there for me even when times get rough.
