The DragonflyA Poem by TyThe Dragonfly.Frequency is measured between a wave, Over interval distances, I'd measured the world the same, The space between these words in sentences. Fractions or division, My equilibrium, Half, The Equinox Equal in deeper meaning, Seasons, Believed I'd leave change, Or broaden your perspective. And if I handed you a brush, What would you paint? What is your message? I've seen Ospreys over high seas And a Falu and Amaranth Red Dragonfly, Teetering on the brink of war and solace, So long as the motive benefited no one, In the moment, It seemed Dandelions and daydreams descended from outer space, Aligned with out of date debris And fog from past storms, That latched on Lashed forward into the future Confucius mirrors Only to awaken amazed Gazed staring at self, Us, The Dragonfly Demonstrates, Capable of hovering above turmoil and everything else Illustrated politics in paintings Canvases Priorities and portraits The Garden of Earthly Delights Confusion and hazy Alone underneath Inside My heart aspires for reach In hopes your portion's painted in escape and peace. © 2017 TyFeatured Review
