Bottled

Bottled

A Poem by Ty
"

When A Bottle Talks. Poured Emotion.

"
When a bottle talks
It isn't filtered
Screams
It shrieks every word
Vulgar condensation weeping
It's so much pain
Weaving
In between insanity and Purity
As if you could wash free all debt and depression
Obsession with clarity
Answers and understanding
Memories
Rebuilt my wall with broken rebar
So still I find I'm...
Structural dysfunction
Narrating
When a bottle talks
It pours
Erupts
Every thought
Abrupt
Every emotion
Stirs up,
What little hope remains
Disdain
The clash of a freight train and Supernova
Inevitable intersection drawn closer,
Of the bottle,
To the brim, to the tip
I'd attempt to make bare the puzzle piece that would fit
Damning
Stranded
Drowning.

For some reason, I kept having an image of a kettle boiling on the stovetop instead of a bottle
