Rosewood

Rosewood

A Poem by Ty
"

I see past and present, Rosewood.

"
Discern
I see hoping emotions in-turn retract propelling backwards
Destruction
Disturbed seas thundering
Blurred between uncertainty,
Overthinking and lack in dreams.
Storms
A fraction of stakes,
And pain,
Driven so deep it'd splinter Earth's continental plates
Andrea's Fault
In-depth
Imbalance
I see,
In fact it'd take souls displaced in shattered plight
Veiled in night
To see what dawns
Or resonates
Inevitable and innate
I see,
Torn church and state
Scarred land where dramatic Rosewood stood
Unfathomable
Unveiled
Approached with caution,
A search of ourselves in intimate positions
Decisions, beginnings
Resolutions in pending
Until tears,
Could we consider any capacity of progression or evolution a win
Yet real,
I see.

I could imagine a piece of driftwood that came from a crashed ship, floating across the sea

"Propelling backwards"-yes "I see" it too my friend. "Imbalance...scarred land where dramatic Rosewood stood".."Torn church and state"...yes, tears. Profound, evocative poem and image. Important.
