InsteadA Poem by TyInstead.Wanting to be uncovered and free The wick fizzles, it's weak Digging coal miners deep To sift and find yourself With this ahead amidst a bridge Instead again a breath of air, Tip of time, mint and lime, If wine bottles could pour for days Another page, each chapter, never bored It stays, it lingers. Your Eagle desires, came short in Pigeons, It's tiring, it drains, Maybe you're somebody else, Tucked and drowned in the distance Allow what's said, this message, immerse, Maybe steer your direction, Facing your fears and reflections, Every word a room of many mirrors, A pier in the Heavens, Walking among islands and plateaus You can smell the rain and dirt in this photo Yet, sometimes I still I don't understand Maybe we're somebody else Esteem missing self Attraction from menace, stagnant feelings leaving Climbing ladders and cliffs to reach the ceiling Zhang's sandstone pillars, Pressure and perseverance Tough, Hawaiian Female Firefighters, How tough is your skin? Wanting to be uncovered and free Roaring thundering sea, yet peace underneath Maybe you're somebody else, But these walls will tear down A breath of air, Halt your sifting through dirt on the ground Emerge an Eagle over church steeples, Naples yellow sun rays and waves. © 2017 Ty |
