Exodus

Exodus

A Poem by Ty
"

Exodus.

"
I think I've found my strengths,
Seems I've found my weakness
It's often ever confusing
Welcoming nights of therapeutic music
Subtle hints of mint, incense, and pedals of a Tulip
Wiping sleep from each eye
My mind is never blank
Stubbornly awake in mid of night just to sift and think
Graveyard shift, the ink,
It's settling
It's time that's feathery
Blown bubble breezy
Surrounded in your thoughts and feelings
Floating further searching for answers and meaning
History to make,
Marley writing Exodus,
'Is This Love' or 'Waiting in Vein'
My bedroom walls shake,
These dreams are heavy tanks
And everyday levees save everything
From hurtling,
If the chaos upstairs, that is me, was Mother Nature
Greens of Turtles, leaves, and Earthly things, Parrot wings
Chirping when bird songs sing
An inviting heart is always better off
Despite hurtles, heat, and the dark
I think I've found strength,
In The Sleep's Wool
I'd find it rather soothing.

This reminds me of myself when I am constantly lost in thoughts at the nighttime
