Dark Blue And GreyA Poem by TyDark Blue And GreySome days you feel lonely, Some days you feel you could do more, Some days you feel you yearn, Some days awaking vehemently asking where could your home be, And no, I know not which way to turn, Following these floating feathers guidance maybe a lesson to learn. No not another tear, I guess I've done it in somehow, Stomach is hurting, thanking these words for feeding me for now. Read books and social sites, that's what you do to pass the time Or Wikipedia everything like, 'do Crocodiles live in The Nile?' Or am I secluding myself and dwelling deeper into denial. Truthfully its become a shade darker around Something dark, blue, or grey when the tunes of news stretches their sound. Something along the lines of; Mother nature regurgitating bursts of lava, Eruptions, clashes, fascists, fakes, cops, and monsters CO2 emissions, oil, morbid; more in carbon. And I can see your soul and veins are filled with toxins The hate it shows and peels like lead paint and nonsense. If only more would boast a thirst for us in knowledge Community support, conversing, books, and offerings Emerge in tanks with swords from swamps and wells and bottoms The father's words a maze but pave, they prosper, A light that rips and ruptures darkness. I'm guarded, sorry, this wall's here. Me. So pardon, Concrete, pillars, Totems, soldiers that form in columns In a haystack with picks, pitchforks, and needles, Standing alone among coral reefs and seas of people I'm not as social as I would like you see, I aim to be and certainly, not a pessimist, It's evident apparently I'm always feeling hesitant The maybe, ifs, it's precedence Just switch it, A precedent of common sense, Intelligence and maybe then. Or honestly I'm probably just f*****g paranoid. "First time I've ever felt foreign" Let it storm, let it pour in, Let it rain and most will deem the cause is lost The North Star steered me out the dark Luckily reluctant me fastening a compass to a sphere of paradigm and optimism. © 2017 Ty |
