A Vessel In The Desert

A Vessel In The Desert

A Poem by Ty
"

A Message, A Vessel In The Desert.

"
Sometimes instilling a message parallels a friendship when it severs,
Fine line tightrope walking wire afraid as if we ought to choose a side.
When it's tough to pass the message through, you're seeking for the vessel,
Morse code and moss, or a pigeon and it's feathers.
These times of dark clouds hoover in the desert,
Drought and hard binds, you'd pray for muddy in this weather.
Whether the rain floods or nourishes, you're dancing with the devil,
And if ever you'd float, it's a bubble in a kettle.
And I'll store the heat in a thermal if it'll get me through the winter.
I often sit and think,
Minds of branch, weeds, and snakes on banks and rapids of a raging river.
In thought on a train,
Thunder clouds and brain storms it brought.
The fog when it's dense and the mist and the untamed rain,
Above the mountain peak and range,
Colors of orange and slate in sunsets and gorges.
And boy the sheep are calling.
Feeling connections strong enough to get the message through,
I hope our measures radiate then harnesses the energy.
I believe in a need to align in atmospheres of minds adjacent,
Microaggression, individualism, solidarity, the misappropriation,
Enough to sift through, tough love and misuse.
Adjusting approaches down different avenues,
You're the vessel in search of the rainbow in the morn.,
When you want to speak your heart.
