ReleasingA Poem by thetishJust when you believe you are letting go, life lets you know the truth.
I let it fall away gently from my grasp
With each finger hesitantly opening In ever slowing increments... Every morsel of my being in fighting agreeance, screaming out boldly in resistance. Finally. I did it... Slyly, a familiar wind dances by, whirls round me, touches my cheek, my neck. In disbelief, I watch fate unfold - the particles gathering in a multitude. With a swirling, a twisting, a bend - lifting up, spreading out, then gathering in. A waltz? No. No, a tango indeed. Elegant, graceful, mixed with raw passion two are involved in this game. Drawn in by emotions, overtaken by spender, frozen in the mystical moment. I have done nothing... That what was released with reverent prayer Wanting a calm and needing freedom again forms before my eye. Gathering together - to a perfect whole & Waiting to be held so close to the soul. Begging for me. Again. © 2017 thetishReviews
