tornadoA Poem by thetishThese are my thoughts as a struggled a few years ago, when I strongly and morally disagreed with events enfolding around me.Amid the winds of the tornado that roar in terror I grab to seize control. Inside my mind races, grasping at the pieces of debris; Outside I build the walls of protection thicker, brick by brick.
The horrors plague my sleep with never-ending chaos: Searching, racing, crashing, seeking, Answers for the questions, which there can be only nonsense and unrest.
Longing to find the peace lying up before; Longing for the calm that must be. I lend my faith to the spirits of all before - Be my beacon - guiding and shining bright.
The winds of the storm are uncompromising. They tear at my being, ripping off what they can. Yet I thrust my feet firmly under me, With my face directly pointing at the eye. © 2016 thetishReviews
