Deeds

Deeds

A Poem by Krutika

The truth we spoke,
Silence, the most profound of all.
The lies we told,
Words, the greatest of all.
The prayers we devised,
Tears, the most honest of all.
The stories we wrote,
Life, the best of all.
The fears we wove,
Death, the most ferocious of all.
The questions we asked,
God, the foremost of all.
The cages we condemned,
Thoughts, the most confining of all.
The limits we denounced,
Time, the worst of all.
The plans we sowed,
Dreams, the most salient of all.
Inspite of everything we hold,
Here we are, standing tall.
