Prologue

The setting of the story...

It's the year 20XX, people have gained the ability to use magic through the power of their inner selves. Their greatest weakness and greatest strength manifest to create the power needed to fuel their imaginations. Humans discovered the relics and ruins dedicated to these personas deep in the mountains of Japan. There they discovered how to connect with their personas. These personas reside in each person and the personas resemble a god or goddess. Although every person has a persona, not everyone is able to get in touch with their inner self. Therefore not all humans are capable of using magic. This has caused a huge gap in society, between mages and normal humans.

Throughout history, the presence of personas have given people success or have brought them failure. Deep in the ruins of the persona discovery site, there was a legend. If a person managed to control both their personas they will truly understand the power of magic. To turn your weakness into a strength and to use your strength to cover your weakness. Combining the powers of both personas, creating the ultimate self discovery. 

There has only been one person able to achieve this heightened level of magic. The one who discovered this power of persona. After the discovery, there was a huge dispute and fight between mages and normal humans. This man who achieved the heightened level of magic, ended the suffering and created a new system of government in which it was equal for all. 

The fight between humans was not the only thing to change in the world. By awakening this power, it led to mages who would use the power for evil purposes. Monsters and demons started to show up, creatures created by the power of persona. The only way to defeat them, use the power of persona to destroy them. Thus mages acted as a security and furthering research, while normal humans continued the regular jobs needed to keep the cities running. 

Soon after the discovery of personas and magic, people all over the world began to migrate to Japan to learn the secret. Then as the people left Japan with a new learned secret, they taught others. The number of mages grew exponentially around the world in the 3 years that followed. This created the IMC, International Mages Council. They were made up of 2 representatives from each large nation, that would speak of possible threats and solutions to problems. 

Its 15 years since the discovery and schools were created to train young mages to become the future of the world. These young mages will learn that the world is cruel, painful, and evil. At the same time, they will know the world is also kind, merciful, and good. The law of the universe states, there can be no good with no bad. One boy and one girl will discover the truth through the strings of fateful events. Here is their FairyTale Adventure...
