The One I Call 'Father'

The One I Call 'Father'

A Poem by Lindsay.
"

This was written when I was just a bit mad. haha

"

You look at me like I’m full of lies

Is it that you don’t trust me?

You won’t let me say my last goodbyes

Is it that you want me to stay?

You look at me with eyes full of mistrust

Am I that horrible?

Am a just a child that came from lust

And nothing more?

You love me

Yet hate me.

You don’t want me to stay,

Yet don’t want me to go.

You’re a person I don’t want to bother

Yet you yell when I don’t come to you.

What is going on in your head?

I want to know what’s true.

You are my father and yet a total stranger.

Personally I’d like to keep it that way

And let your world waste away.

But I won’t, I shall stay.

‘Til the world crumbles and falls apart.

Because you are the one I call father.
