A true heart

is hidden with care,

in a place no one will look

because no one would dare.

 

A true heart

will be broken

then healed

with a brand new shield.

 

A true heart

will be scared

will be scarred

because no one dared.

 

A true heart

is something not many people

have to hold

or to love.

 

So consider yourself lucky,
