Her ears

here everything

the others say

about her.

 

Yet she

cannot reply

or defend herself

against them.

 

She is a mute

She can hear

yet cannot speak

Because of what he has

done.

 

He is a monster

who destroyed her

very soul.

 

So with sorrow

She hears

and with fear

she cannot speak

Because of what he has

done.

 

Perhaps one day

She will over come her

Fear and Sorrow

and tell the world

What he has done.

 

And maybe

She will grow

Stronger

Because of what he has

done.
