She Won't Miss

She still loves him

Though he made her cry.

She still wants him

Though he made her want to die.

 

She didn’t fly too high,

So she didn’t fall too hard.

She didn’t let him too far in

So she had less to guard.

 

She still wants to let him in

Even after all of this.

She really wants to,

But she doesn’t want to miss.

 

She doesn’t want to miss

Her true love

Or her granted wish

From above.

 

She doesn’t want to miss

Something that comes once in a lifetime

Or something that’s small,

Like a dime.

 

She’s moving on

Leaving him in the dust.

She’ll find someone

And his heart will rust.

Sometimes it is okay to let someone in.... But always guard your heart... This is a great poem... I like
