Time

Time

A Poem by tshigg
"

Watches are beautiful shiny slave bracelets

"

Time waits for no man.
It is like a grain of sand.
It slips through your fingers.
Goes away in a twinkle.

A watch is the face of time.
To remind us of the grind.

We are bound by this
Self-imposed slave bracelet.

Why do we bind ourselves.

We try to hide it.
We make them beautiful and shiny.
We pay money for them.
Money to wear a shiny beautiful slave bracelet.

No more.
I will live in the moment.
Unbridled by time.

Thinking and praying.
Losing my mind!
Smiling!
Laughing!
Crying!
But True!

Each Moment is a gift!
A gift
given to me
and
YOU!
