Tragedies

A friend of mine is going through something that I can not even imagine going through. My heart broke to hear her story :(

Sometimes in life

there are tragedies

we have to over come...

 

We can not have it explained to us...

We do not have control on certain things...

 

That is when

we must believe in faith

faith... that we will

eventually know the truth

 

That everything one day

will all make sense

and we can live in peace

 

Oh how the pain

we feel can be over bearing

our senses numb...

our touch...

never the same

 

Suddenly our world shattered

as we bleed on the inside...

life still seems to go on

without missing a beat...

 

When our world seems to slow down

because your lost

do not know which way to turn....

 

That is when the little things that use to matter

suddenly are not that bad...

this pain

is so much worse....

 

Time will dull the pain...

tragedies...

leaves scars to remember

foever

Well, I think...I liked your poem, it made sense and held a lot of truth. There are some things we will never get answers for but like you said, time will dull the pain but the scars, unfortunately will last forever (you misspelled forever at the end) But, life goes on and if we choose to dwell on these tragedies, our life will become one as well. But if we chose to move on, deal with the scar and look forward...maybe it won't be that bad after all. One more thing I think is...more people should read your poem. (Even if it is 14 years old.) : )
