Chances

Chances

A Poem by T. S.

Wonderful moments you wish would never end
Slip by without a simple farewell.
In the blink of an eye they vanish
leaving you stranded in thoughts of what could have been.

But who's to say what might have been?
A missed opportunity, a fleeting possibility,
unless you grab on tight
and refuse to let it go.
