AstronautA Poem by T.S. Claus
I am an astronaut; foreign and intolerable
Ostracized but not forgotten is my memory,
Inside minds of those I once befriended Not forgotten, only much ignored I am not called, I do not go to the beach Unable to relate among the souls is mine The indifference's of others beneath my freckle-flesh Slice me open so that I may let them go Will you find a heart, for I am not loved? Twenty-two years; searching and longevities Never home three planets from Our Star Behind blue eyes I no longer tell stories and anecdotes We are not the same as one another Let this silly body rot © 2016 T.S.
