PaperA Poem by JbJust think of the happy times When you were watching some underground movie Away from all the empty people Full with the unknown But who care's you're not alone
Just think of the innocent times When the night vanished as your eyes blazed Foreheads pressed together Someone you could hold Pure with no secrets to be told
When no hope is left inside When you're shaking in your sweat Running through lost dreams Deafened by the screams I hope you'll think of me And all the places we could be I'd break the chains and set you free But I'm shackled amongst your insanity
Remember when we ate raindrops And danced around like no one was even watching You're the only one who sees me Mystery flashing by Spinning round 'til were high
Remember when you told me That it wasn't anything to do with me, but you And I crumbled like paper Threw myself away like trash Watched blood drip from the slash
When no hope is left inside When you're shaking in your sweat Running through lost dreams Deafened by the screams I hope you'll think of me And all the places we could be I'd break the chains and set you free But I'm shackled amongst your insanity
