Only you

Only you

A Poem by Jb

The stars are fading now

And everyones stoned

Sun spitting fire

We've all been owned

The black ink is spilling

Spilling our sins

With madness and vegence

No one ever wins

And no one ever riots

Because no ones ever heard

Dying with the daylight

Sane with the absurd

Red eyes and hopeless

It's all we've got

Fade until the next night

Then melt until it's too hot

Until the fire engulfs us

And there's nothing more we can do

Grasping at embers

I only needed you
