Endure

Endure

A Poem by Jb

We're all just here

Trying to save ourselves

Grasping at straws

With every breath

Trying to make sense

Of the questions we can't answer

Attempting to live life

Until the day of our death

Following the rules

With each breaking heart

Trying to be whole

Though we're broken apart

But no one dare stops

No one will speak

Because this is the misery

That we all seek

This is amazing. It actually reminded me of self-destruction and how no matter how much you want to "save yourself," there's just always something pulling you back in. Great work. You write such beautiful poems.
