Infinite

Infinite

A Poem by Jb

I would give anything to go back

To that night when the street lights illuminated our eyes

Free atlast, so at ease

Forgetting where we were

Troubles melting away

The stars telling us where to go

Contentment laced with laughter

I finally felt whole

the music in my car

The soundtrack to our lives

Lyrics soothing the wounds we though

Would never heal

Our presence quelling

The lonliness we thought

Would never end

Praying for the highway to go on forever

Praying for this night to go on forever

Because this is what we've been waiting for

Life finally makes sense, we need nothing more

For we are infinite
