inspiration

and they all seemed to leave when you did

you were more than just sex

you touched a part of my soul 

that no one knew i had

you opened my mind

and illuminated my heart

i don't see myself as an artistic person

but you showed me that art isn't always drawings and sculptures

you showed me how to paint with my words

and then you told me how beautiful my masterpieces were

but you left

and you look my art with you

and once again

i am empty and numb
