Little Birds

Little Birds

A Chapter by Truman S. Booth

Good morning little birds

How are you?

Good morning little birds

I’m just fine

All the melodies you make

They are with me when I wake

What a wonderful way

To rise!

Good morning little birds

Great to hear you

Good morning little birds

Ain’t it great to know

That you have a friend in song

And I’ll always sing along

In the morning

Little birds!

I remember when I was just a child

I would listen to your whistlin’ as it rang

And I knew that by you

I could never be beguiled

And that trust is the reason that I sang!

So good morning little birds

Great to hear you

Good morning little birds

Ain’t it great to know

That you have a friend in song

And I’ll always sing along

In the morning, little birds

And I thank you, little birds

And I love you…

Little birds!

Author's Note

Truman S. Booth
One day while I was working outside, I heard a bird whistle an actual melody, rhythm and all. I got so excited about it, I wrote this song to that melody. Wish you could hear it. :)

About
I am a young writer, but I believe that talent knows no age--although they tend to increase together. There are a few things I love, and a few things I hate. I love language, piano, animated movie.. more..
