Be who you want to be

Don't be afraid to share about yourself

what do you hear around you

laughter

name calling

hatred

loathing

then you realize all of this criticism is directed towards you

you then realize why people are laughing

you understand why people are pointing at you

You are different,

you find yourself sprinting towards the washroom

so that everyone wont see you cry

you start to cry

when your friend walks in and says

"why are you crying"

You realizethat you are different for a reason

you are who you are

you can hide all you want

 but that will get you nowhere

you need to express yourself the way you want to

you can't hide in the shadows all of your life.

I was so lonely as a kid. I knew I was different. I couldn't quite figure out what it was that separated me from the pack. Spent most of my young adult years trying to blend in and disappear. Finally came out of the shadows, and it has made such a difference!
