Saving Hannah

Saving Hannah

A Story by Kate Moore

Hannah was a beautiful young girl. One of my best friends actually. We had bonded over our mutual love of writing, and music. She taught me a lot about life. Not only during her brief existence, but after as well. I remember we had P.E class together. Though she was sad, she always smiled. And one day I pondered this, asking her how she managed to keep it in check for so long. She had laughed for a moment; oh i remember that laugh. A laugh that could turn heads i would say. It seems those few words have been set to repeat in my head the past few days. It's the only thing I have left of her. That, and a blurry picture she had taken off my phone a few weeks before she took her own life.
