It was another cool, calm night at the bar slash club that Reggie worked at. Sweet soothing soulful vibes from B.B King's guitar played in the background as people mingled around the establishment. Reggie was a fan of the guitarist, he whistled the beat of the song as he cleaned out a glass, looking around the room at no one in particular. He finished cleaning the shot glass up and put it back on the rack, as he was doing that the door open and the crowd went into a fit of applause. Raising a brow, Reggie wiped his hands on his apron and turned back to the front to see what had happened. Taking a quick glance at the front door, his light hazel eyes widened as he noticed who it was. It was Sydney James, the only woman in Harlem who could sing better than Mariah Carey herself.

Reggie slowly ran his tongue over his bottom lip as he watched Sydney move, she grew up fine in all the right places. Her curves, she had curves out of this world. She was definitely a looker, yet Reggie knew Sydney wouldn't have wanted anyone like him. A bartender? Yeah, she could do way better than that. Sydney looked over at the bar and noticed Reggie looking at her, she turned the corner of her lip up and told the boys to wait just a minute. Making her way over to the bar, she slid into one of the bar stools, drumming her fingers on the cool glass as she looked him over. Reggie's heart was beating faster than usual, his conscience was telling him to cool it and ask the woman what she wanted. So he did, as best he could of course.

"Yeah, uh.... lemme get a Coke and Rum," Sydney said, pursing her lips, which were still turned up in the form of a smirk. "You new around here...." She took a quick glance at his name tag, "Reggie?" A frown fell upon Reggie's face as he slowly shook his head. "Nah, I've been working here for about a year, now...." His voiced trailed off as he finished making up her drink. Just like he thought, she didn't know him nor probably didn't want to either. He placed a coaster down in front of her, the drink itself following after. Smiling at her, he threw the towel around his shoulder and leaned against the back counter. "Drink up."

That same infamous smirk came back as Sydney gave Reggie another look over then wrapped her lips around the straw. "Tell me about yourself, Reg.... I can call you that, right?" She asked, an innocent look on her face, knowing damn well she was far from it. Sydney James was a dangerous woman, though men only found that out once they got too deep in. P***y was a powerful drug, and all her lovers knew that.

"You sure you don't wanna go back to your friends, Ms. James? I'm guessing they're waiting on you." She turned around and glanced at her friends, they were all occupied with the women around them. She shrugged and turned to face Reggie, "They're busy, now tell me something about you," She said, more in a demanding type of tone.

"Ain't too much to know about me outside me being a bartender, I'm not an interesting person, Syd... I can call you that, right?" He asked, mocking her. A small chuckle parted Sydney's lips as she nodded in approval. "Really now, we should change that Mr. Reg..." She finished her drink up and sat up straight, sliding the empty glass over to him as she placed her hands on top of the bar. "How's about me and you go to dinner, maybe catch a movie after... that cool with you, cat?" There went Reggie's heart, acting a damn fool again. He tried to play it off as best he could.

"Yeah, that's fine and dandy with me," He said, an unintentional grin being displayed on his face. Sydney looked him over and laughed as she pushed her stool back. She grabbed the nearest napkin and the pen that she always kept tucked safe between her breasts along with her money. She quickly wrote her name and her number and slid it over to Reggie. "I gotta go back over to my friends now, but you make sure to give me a ring though, ya hear?" Reggie nodded, he heard her statement good and well. He grabbed the napkin and stuck it in his back pocket, watching the way her backside moved as she walked away. This was one of the unexpected, yet best nights of his life. Little did he know, Sydney had so much in store for him, who knows if he would be ready or not....
