I watched out my window
And saw the white powder come
Not knowing what it is
Or where it came from
I saw the kids go out and play
In the mysterious stuff
I had to go out and see for myself
So I let out a loud “ruff”
The kids opened the door I dashed outside
And saw someone I never knew
He was big and pale and had a large orange nose
And different then me and you
When I stared at him, he gazed at me
With a look that could steal your soul
I barked at him and he wasn’t scared
His eyes as black as coal
I went inside to restAnd came out the next day
I saw the stranger standing there
But not his postured swayed
As days passed I felt pity on the man
Cause he began to look sick
I slept that night by his side
But was awoken when he lost his arm like stick
I began to cry and whine
Trying to get help for then man
The kids would follow me out, and then look confused
As if, they didn’t understand
I awoke one day and saw the man was gone
So I immediately ran outside
There I found a puddle on the ground
Full of his mouth, nose and eyes
A year passed and he came again
But he was still in danger
It seamed no matter what I did
I couldn’t help- the pale stranger.
