I hope this never happens

I hope this never happens

A Poem by Poetic Poet

I press my lips on your once warm cheek
I need to know why but you can’t speak
You’re lying in a box like a package to hell.
I say my good byes over the sound of a church bell.
Your room hasn’t changed since the day you let your self.
Old clothes on the floor, trophies n the shelf.
Pictures from the dance on your wall
Your girlfriend left a message
You didn’t return her call.
Yearbooks from school will never be the same.
Looking to the left of me is someone else’s name.
I love you lots even thought it doesn’t show
Ill miss you forever, you’re the great
Bro.

Very nice rhyming. Your poem flows especially well with each line.
There's a very raw emotion that shines through your words. Moving.
Good job!
