A tale of 2 lovers

A tale of 2 lovers

A Poem by Poetic Poet

Scarlet love of a black abyss
So far off yet so hard to miss
Met between cracks in the wall
If anyone should find them, it would surely fall
A love of tangled weeds no one can see
Stopping there pain stopping there misery
Must stay far apart in the daylight
But 2 works of art in the cool dark night
The slaves and the whites two different lives
But there love is as sweet as any beehive
One is dark one is light
But they could care less there love is right
Poor old peasant found out there tale
Told on one and both went to jail
There love still in tacked tried to escape
But hanging day came and it was too late
He was killed he slowly died
Her heart brake told her to commit suicide
To be with her love happy or die of grief
One swish of a knife she fell like a dead leaf
A light a tunnel and her love at the end
To hold her love her and be her best friend
One of black and one of white
Walk hand and hand together in the bright heaven light.
