A Poem by William Maisonave
"

most of my poetry is spoken word so read it as such to get the full feeling of my words

"

his image

not that of his own manifestation

rather a product of his enviornment

escape cold cuffs

solid bars

a lone bright star

embedded in a dark velvet sky

hippin' and hoppin'

s'possed to be rolling and rocking

or so They say

so many hypocritical dictators

blinded by specs of ignorance

swelled with pride

attempts to criticize

an existance foriegn to mainstream

never having heard the morbid symphony

of burning glaciers

assault the delicate ears of a child

an unknown outcast

naive enough to believe enough

in the echos of his beating heart

defying gravity he boldly disregards

lessons a pusillanimous society's taught

This was very interesting. I like your word play a lot, and I can definitely see how this is a fine example of spoken word poetry. Very nice and powerful writing.
