Always The One That Dies

Always The One That Dies

A Poem by Adrienne

Life was bitter.

Boring, litter on the ground of my heart.

Relationships didnt start.

I was always alone.

Hello, said the computer -

Im your teacher, your tutor.

I will be your guide

to love.

One boy down and we're best friends.

laughing,

webcam,

judgement ends. We're friends.

6 months by and Batman dies.

Next boy up is Tom.

First heartbreak at age 15, he's mean.

I gave a lot,

my dignity... what he got.

6 months later and Im in love

with Tom... and Tom's gone.

Now to deal with a british boy.

I like him

Im his toy.

I cant help being used when I know that I am wanted.

if not for me,

for what I have.

Not having what is real, true and lively hurts.

but thats my water... I have thirst.
