It's not a secret anymore

It's not a secret anymore

A Poem by Adrienne

It's not a secret anymore.

Its less of an attention-grabber,

and more of something my mom's ashamed of.

Like when she watches me,

knife to my arm,

wet face,

she can't help but just watch.

With stoney eyes, just watch.

I dont want you to see them,

those long lines

up my arm.

See my face, see my smile instead.

I have exuberance alive.

I

   am

         not

               dead.

Good! I can feel what you are going through. or at least your Character. I went through a few suicide attempts when I was younger and I feel all to well these words. After everyone walks on egg shells around you for years. Very well done.
