NYAFTG ( New York Adventures of Four Twelve year old Girls )A Story by AdriennePart 1Aiden, Ching-lee, Jessie and Shaniqua were best friends forever. They all lived in the same appartement building in the center of New York City. They all attended seventh grade at the local ghetto elementary school and they all liked the Beatles. Being 12 year old girls they hadn't gone through highschool and they dressed like it too. They all were very carefree, except Jessie who worried about everything. Aiden wore pouffy clothes. Anything that made her look large and shapeless and felt like butter she would wear. Jessie's family was poor and she had 7 siblings whose names all started with J. All of Jessies clothes had flower print on them. Most days, Ching-lee wore a bag around her head so that she didnt get beaten... sweet kid really. Shaniqua had to wear plus sized jeans because simply enough, her booty just did not fit.
It was a summer day and everything was sticky in the appartement building. The sounds of the outside city washed through the girls' windows. Aiden, Ching-lee, Jessie and Shaniqua decided it would be a good day to go down to the icecream store. It was hot enough, they thought. So together they walked down the stairs of their apartement building singing that old sixties song, lollipop. Bu-dum dum dum. When they walked outside they saw their friend Fendo, who was indoubidably mexican. "Hey ladies" Fendo said to the four 12 year old girls. "Hey Fendo" Said the girls. "What you lurking for, Fendo?" asked Shaniqua "oh you know me and my ethnicity, Shaniqua, I'm just lurking." Fendo replyed proudly. Ching-lee smiled at Fendo and then said something chinese. "I smell fish too, Ching" Fendo said back to Ching-lee and then continued with "Its your mom!" He chuckled and with every ha, the word quesadilla slipped out too. Jessie jumped in after 10 seconds of Fendo mexicanly laughing to himself and said "Fendo, we have to go to the ice cream store, want to come with us?" You could tell Fendo was considering it, because his brown eyebrow swooped down a bit. And then he said "No, I'm sorry I cant. My abuelita is back home and she's got the flu, I need to take her some medicino and hope she lives. Aiden cringed. "then were going. Tell your grandma I said get well swine-- I mean soon" The girls laughed and continued on to the Ice cream store. © 2009 AdrienneAuthor's Note
