Death at the Hajj

Death at the Hajj

A Poem by Trong Van
"

Many Muslims view death at the Hajj as a blessing.

"

There they come, many truly hope

To die in the Hajj is a blessing

Considered to have been martyred

With some luck, their dream’s accomplished.

Keep climbing up to Mount Arafat

Being re-born as they might

Never come home again, that’s all right

Better off that way, isn't it?
