A man lies beside me
But its not you,
The face is yours
But its not you,
This man here today
Is so angry and mean
I touch his hand
But its not you,
Where did my best friend go?
This man doesn't care,
This man looks at me
But its not you,
Someone please show the way
A way to except this change,
My heart breaks for our dreams
Dreams now taken away,
Taken by the illness of this man
But its not you,
Keeping the promise I made long ago
I'll care for this man who's here now
But its not you,
