Emotional embrace

Every day is a struggle

To keep new emotions at bay

One moment away, from fine to dismay

Not seldom stuck in a muddle

Every day I am learning

Emotions no more stowed away

They're here to stay, I'm well on my way

From too deep in my mind returning

One day I do hope I escape

These chains they have on me now

It sure raises my brow, cause I don't know how

Guess I'll best leave it up to fate

There comes a day to face

And accept they may always be here

But there's a lingering fear, you won't want me near 

Should that reveal to be the case

These days taking all my might

Overwhelming emotion through and though

Wish for me and you, and that you want us too 

But most whomever you choose, treat you right
