Deep breath in

Relish some

Walk in

Cold on your skin

Swim

Be in the moment

And watch the darkness

Dissolve to nothing

A cleansing swim in the frigid cold

A clearing of mind, food for the soul

Quiet presence, just forced to be

Weights lifted, and just like that

A lighter me

In the cold I found indifference

No care with or without

The heat thereafter I found much appreciation

Of my company no doubt 

Felt more at ease

Than in long a time

From the cold reset prior

And in a good friend of mine
