Cold

Cold

A Poem by Trivén

The wind's blowing strong
Bending trees around me
I'm cold and wet
Snow melting on my face

No moonlight to guide me
No stars to keep me company
Just me alone
Thousands of snowflakes around

When darkness comes completely
My eyes no longer my guides
Hand's gone numb
Cold rendering my only guides worthless

Now sitting, my legs no longer bear
Waiting in the frivolous snow
No holding back
Wanting a reason to stay awake

I find bed under a feet of snow
Shakings have stopped, feelings too
No light, no sound
No heartbeat.

No longer around
