Animals - them or we?

Animals - them or we?

A Poem by Trivén

Without love and sin
the animal kingdom reels it in
The big price of survival
As long as you're stronger than your rival

But now that we're here, have they met their match?
we think we rule the world, but we do it with a catch.
The catch's swept under the rug
No one want's to talk
no one want's to know.
What catch include is hard to chug
What though to many would come as a shock
is that only the rug itself has stopped much to grow.

One can wonder if we do think at all,
to go in and take over, big or small.
Consequences, what is that?
Nature dies while we get fat.

Take action for failures, it's not all about you
It's you and I, them and those too
Everyone and everything
Without them all, we're nothing

If we're now as smart as we say
Show it to the world
For species whom don't understand our way
Don't make their lives all twirled
