His SmileA Poem by TrishAriasHusband & young love
His Smile.
That was all it took. He wandered into a crowded room. He was all I could see. The room was a haze. The people nothing but a mixture of colors. He stood there not knowing what he would become. The music became a silent echo. The alcohol running through me stopped dead in it's tracks. Nothing was ever going to taint the moment. The one memory I will never forget. I myself didn't know what would become. All I knew was I could die that night after seeing his smile. I knew that this was not your ordinary encounter. His smile seemed to give me a million questions. I wanted his attention. I wanted him to leave his sent lingering among-st me. The night grew darker. People found their ways home. I was desperate to interact and his smile never stopped. I took all chances. His smile fueled my boldness. The night grew into minutes, It was time to go. He turned to me and I kissed him. I felt his smile. I engulfed his scent. It took just one smile. I would wait eternity for this man. I waited a year. A year to see his smile again...
