Husband & Wife

The echo of his smile. 

The smoothness of her skin.

The wind that carries his being.

The last gasp before approaching her lips.

Reaching into the depths of my soul to give him my all.

Hoping she will love me till I am only skin & bones.

Lifeless our bodies will be but not our journey.
