Blind Guardian

Blind Guardian

A Poem by Mortricia
"

The title covers it well enough.

"

My thoughts are too quick

and my midsection's sick

I can't stand straight

but, it's like-

my feet won't wait

they just kick along

and my head comes late

Spinning off my axis

I'm quickly losing traction

and I know that none of this

is to your satisfaction

but I can't slow down

my steps tread light

above the ground

and out of sight.

Interesting! I like the quick, dizzying tone it carries.
