Wishing Well

Wishing Well

A Poem by Mortricia
"

Someone toss me a penny?

"

I'm a stranger to reality

I'd negotiate my gravity

Gamble away my sanity

Remove all sense of vanity

Yeah,

nothing quite surprises me

My vision scorned and twisted

Hands writing 'till they're blistered

I'm everywhere unlisted

and nowhere

yeah,

you missed me

I lack some intuition

and fear my inhibitions

Faulty ticket for admissions

to the lake of dreams I fish in

yeah,

it's just a well I wish in.

In the end,

it's just a well I wish in.

I like it. Very good, deep.
